Thursday - Tel Aviv, Israel
Upon arrival; you will be met by our representative and be transferred to your hotel in Tel Aviv.
Friday - Tel Aviv / Sea of Galilee / Tiberias
After breakfast drive for a short visit of the city of Jaffa (Joppa) where we will take a short walking tour in picturesque alleys of the old, fortified town. We we'll pass by the house of Simon the Tanner and marvel at the views from the hill top. Than drive up north along the coast to the archaeological ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honor of Augustus Caesar. Continue to Haifa, sightseeing tour of Haifa with the Bahai Shrine- Persian Garden and Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city. drive to Megiddo where the book of Revelation mentions a great batt le at the place called "Armageddon". It is an ancient city inhabited continuously for more than five millennia (6000-500 B.C.). After exploring the ancient ruins we'll drive toward the Sea of Galilee, Arrive at Tiberias and check-in to your hotel.
Saturday - Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights
Visit the historic Tiberias, drive along the cost of the Sea of Galilee to visit Capernaum and Tabgha, then drive on to the Mount of Beatitudes overlooking the Sea,
Ascend to the Golan Heights to view the panoramic view of the peaks of Mt. Hermon and the rugged plateau of the Golan Heights, and beneath it the green pastoral Huleh valley. Return to Tiberias for another lovely night in town.
Sunday - Sea of Galilee / Jordan River / Jerusalem
This morning we travel to Cana to visit the Wedding Church where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine. We proceed to Nazareth, Continue through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean with its recently excavated amphitheater Visit the excavations of this beautiful preserved Roman City which was destroyed in an earthquake and then onward to Jerusalem, where you check-in to your choice of hotel.
Monday - Dead Sea & Masada
Through remarkable scenery of the Dead Sea we'll continue to Masada which is situated right on an isolated cliff in the Judean Desert. The site has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, King Herod?s palace, the synagogue, bathhouse and much more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. En route to the Dead Sea, you will see the site of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Nearly 1,300 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on the earth?s surface. Bring your swimsuit as if weather permits its possible to float on the salty, mineral rich, water. Return to Jerusalem for an overnight.
Tuesday - Jerusalem
Start the day at Mt? Scopus. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of Jerusalem. The holy city for each of the world?s three great religions Christianity, Judaism and Islam Jerusalem occupi es a unique place in the world. Your tour includes the Mount of Oli ves, a stop at the site where Jesus first gave the Lord?s Prayer, and the Garden of Gethsemane where Judas betrayed Jesus. In the Old City you?ll see the Western Wall and the actual site of the Second Temple, the Temple Mount. Walk the Way of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa, to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, housing both the traditional site of Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection. To the southwest, just outside the Old City, is Mount Zion, with the traditional tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper. Return to hotel.
Wednesday - Jerusalem
Todays tour includes Yad Vashem the official memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust established in 1953, located on the foot of Mt. Hertzel. Enjoy Ein Karem a picturesque village on the south western outskirts of Jerusalem. This small village has great significance in Christian traditions, since this is where according to the tradition John the Baptist was born. Visit the Israel Museum with a detailed model of Jerusalem from the time of the Second Temple and the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Drive by the Knesset (House of Parliament) and the campus of Hebrew University. If situation permitting, we might visit Bethlehem to see Rachel Tomb and the Church of the Nativity. Back to your hotel for overnight.
Thursday - Jerusalem ? Jerash - Amman
Drive from Tel Aviv & Jerusalem to the border. After border crossing procedures enter Jordan. Drive to Jerash - city of theDecapolis, located about 45Km. north of Amman in the fertile heights of Gilead. Visit Roman city with colnnaded streets, the ancient theater, the baths and the hill top temple, the triumphal arch etc. Then drive to Amman for a City tour of the Jordanian Capital. Overnight in Amman.
FRIDAY- Amman - Madaba -Mt. Nebo - Shobak - Petra
After breakfast drive to Madaba to s ee the
ancient mosaic map of the Holyland & ruins of historical sites. Continue about 10 Km, to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. From there you will see the Jordan Valley, Jericho, Dead Sea etc. visit the remains of a Byzantine church with a mosaic floor proceed via the crusaders castle - Shobak, to wadi Mussa,
the modern village of Petra for overnight.
Saturday -Petra
After breakfast, leave the hotel and ride on a horseback to the Siq (canyon). from there on20foot to Petra known as ?Sela Edom or red rock city,20the ancient capital of the Nabateans from 3rd century B.C To 2nd century A.D. Visit the most interesting carved monuments such as the Treasury (El Khazneh - a tomb of Nabatean king) then the field of tombs, obelisks, the altar etc. From this point you can view the whole of the rock city Drive to Eilat for overnight.
Sunday- Eilat
A free day in Eilat for leisure visit the local attraction like the underwater observatory with optional desert tours or afternoon transfer to mount Sinai for overnight and early morning climbing
Monday - Mount Sinai Sharm el Sheikh
Early morning pick up and drive to Taba border.
Cross the border into Egypt and drive through the magnificent Sinai desert.
Marvel at the contrast between the different shades of blue of the Red Sea, and the varying colors and formations of the desert mountains.
The Sinai a triangular piece of land inhabited by the nomadic people of the20desert - the Bedouin - living today as they did thousands of years ago.
Arrive at the monastery for a visit of the oldest , existing monastery in the world where the monks go about their daily chores.
Visit the chamber of skulls & the site of the burning bush Drive to Sharm el Sheikh for overnight.
TUESDAY: - Sharrm - Luxor
After breakfast flight to Luxor & transfer to a 5 stars Nile Cruise. Embarkation before Lunch. Af ternoon Visit the temple of Karnak and the temple of Luxor. Dinner & overnight on boat.
WEDNESDAY: Luxor-Esna -Edfu
Visit Luxor east an d west bank. visit the Necropolis of thebes , Valley of the kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepust ,and the colossi of Memnon . Sail to Esna.Cross the Lock & sail to Edfu for Overnight.
THURSDAY: Edfu-Kom Ombo-Aswan
Visit the temple of Horus in Edfu . Sail to Kom ombo sail and visit Kom Ombo Visit the temple shared by the two Gods sobek and haroeris continue to Aswan for overnight.
FRIDAY: Aswan
Visit the High Dam and Temple of Phyla riding Feluca (Sailing Boat) & pass by the Botanical Garden. Overnight in Aswan on boat.
SATURDAY: Aswan ? Cairo
After breakfast, disembark the boat. at leisure in Aswan (optional: Tour to Abu Simble). Travel by a Sleeping Train to Cairo. Dinner and breakfast on the Train.
SUNDAY -Cairo
Arriving Cairo After Full day tour to Memphis, Sakara, visit the great Pyramids of Giza, the Valley Temple & the Sphinx. Overnight at the hotel.
MONDAY - Cairo
Full day city tour of Cairo visiting the Egyptian Museum , the Mosque of Mohammad Ali's Citadel, the old city, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the El Moallakah (hanging) Church. Continue via the City of the Death to Bazaar of Kahn Khalili. Overnight at the hotel.
TUESDAY - Cairo- Alexandria
